The warning about the ZTL around Via Etnea is the most useful thing on this site. We parked outside the zone and walked in, and the fine that our friends got in the post months later never came to us.

Filled up on the approach road before the airport loop, as advised. The return lane at Fontanarossa is signed but the fuel station inside is not where you want to be with a flight in ninety minutes.
